The website is a directory of independent suppliers that have particular expertise in this area. There are products for every room of the home plus there are suppliers of key services too, from builders to tilers and stone masons.

We really like aluminium and use it whenever we can, it’s recyclable and so much nicer than plastic. (The exclusive tuiss toggles are one of our aluminium coups.)

I’m sure we’ve all drooled over a home on the Channel 4 Grand Designs programme, and cringed in sympathy as things have gone totally pear shaped for the poor home owner! There’s a magazine that accompanies the TV programme which features the gorgeous homes as seen on TV, plus there are features on great new products, design icons and trade secrets.
We’re are really pleased that the good people at Grand Designs have featured tuiss in the Radar section of the March issue of their magazine. Karma Zest roller blind is the blind that’s showcased, it’s a fabulous blind that is bursting with colour and interest in vivid chartreuse green.

We truly love Baby Duck Shop, they tick all of our boxes; affordable luxury – their pricing is great, greener by nature – there’s lots and lots of organic and eco items to choose from and of course better by design – they have so many lovely products. Freya is based in London but divides her time with her ‘little beachside studio in Phillip Island, Australia’. Is there any wonder that her illustrations ooze warmth and a smile?
Her work is one of purity of vision with a forever optimistic view of the world. Her quirky and thought provoking pieces are much loved and sought after and held in many public and private collections around the world.
The designers at Philip Watts Design are an eclectic and talented bunch focusing on ‘creative architectural ironmongery’.
They take on all manner of interior design projects as well as designing everyday products with a cheeky or innovative twist. If that wasn’t enough they’ve also built an excellent reputation for designing and building the most marvellous staircases.
By the way their take on urinals is worth a peek and if you’re a twitterer then Philip Watts are too.

All the furniture is designed by Nick Burrin and made exclusively for New England Lifestyle. The website is full of beautifully shot rooms and scenes to make you drool ever so slightly, Nick’s love of white is really quite infectious:
“I love white because it never goes out of fashion. It liberates you from following fashion trends and makes your house feel like an eternal holiday home. I also like counting the different shades of white.
