So, how ‘to do’ coastal without looking like a gift shop!

  • Clearly white and cream are key to the scheme and blue is a popular accent colour. Be ever so slightly wary of adding red into the mix, you may end up more union jack than coastal chic!
  • Floors are often either scrubbed or maybe painted. If that’s too cold opt for sisal or coir carpeting.
  • Nick nacks with a coastal theme are a must, think shells, boats, fish, crabs and beachcombed finds.

There’s no doubt about it, the Kinder Rainbow blackout blind will make a huge splash in any child’s bedroom.

A Diffusion3 screen roller blind is a wonderful window blind for this time of year. The innovative fabric brings UV shading on the one hand and offers privacy on the other. This spotty roman blind wears its spots with gay abandon. The eclectic mix of colours will suit a relaxed area of the home where its cheerful and sunny nature will fit right in. If you’ve just had enough of neutrals and want some colourful cheer then the Discus Jazz roman blind is for you!

Discus Jazz is a blind bursting with character. The cream background features circles of pale eau de nil and sky blue, the other circles are darker and include mustard yellow, burnt orange and poppy red. The final spots favour green and brown so we see olive green and darker khaki green and chocolate as well as a darker brown.
