Go wild with tuiss :: Floral roller & roman blind special offer

We really have been going wild!

We’ve been sending our lovely customers wildflower seeds in a bid to flower up the land and do our bit for the environment. Unfortunately though, despite having thousands of seed packets we’ve sent them all out earlier than we anticipated. We’ve put our thinking caps on to try and think of how we can continue to spread joy!

Not content with just flowering the land we thought we’d flower up homes too and do our best for your pocket at the same time. We’re offering you up to 40% off a selection of our floral roller and roman blinds till the end of May. Just click here or the lovely picture below to access this fabulous offer.

Thank you to the charity Landlife who have worked with us to send out thousands of free packets of wildflower seeds.

Thursday thought by tuiss :: Save rain water with a water butt

Summer will soon be here and hopefully the rain will stop and the sun will shine and shine and then shine some more!

It’s another easey peasy Thursday thought. Install a water butt and save precious rain water. Then use the saved water on your garden, in the pond or to wash your car. Nothing gives greater satisfaction than using rainwater and not turning on a tap!

by tuiss :: Regatta Hublot roman blind

Red and green should never be seen? Not in the case of the Regatta Hublot roman blind!

Just imagine this blind showcased against neutral walls with gorgeous accessories in green and red peppering the room.  Or why not go for impact with a wall in toning poppy red and the occasional flash of zingy green for a lavish and luxurious look?

Take a peek at the wonderful bits and bobs we found that would coordinate just beautifully with this roman blind.

Regatta Hublot

The central colour of Regatta Hublot is muted red which contrasts with deep chartreuse green. Thanks to the mellowness of the two colours they don’t jar and clash but are eye catching nonetheless.

Browns feature nicely on the Hublot, from a narrow stripe of dark chocolate through to lighter but wider stripes of hot chocolate and latte. Calico cotton adds a touch of lightness to the fabric while the occasional stripe of fresh apple green adds subtle liveliness.

tuiss Love :: Barefoot kitchen

tuiss loveIf you fancy having an escape for ten minutes then visit Barefoot Kitchen, their quote says it all.

Check out the lovely things they sell as well as great videos of foraging (yes foraging), cooking on the beach and surfing too.

We love where we live. We still have to weather the storms that life throws at us, but the land, sea and sky are all we really need. Building a fire on the beach, finding wild samphire, catching mackerel on a hand line, leaving the best wave till last. Mix it all up with friends young and old, some things money just can’t buy.

There’s a blog too with lots of pictures of sunny Cornwall.

We have a stunning new faux silk in our roman blind collection. The Lustre fabric has a split personality that works so well, on one hand its brocade shot through with golden threads and bobbly yarns and then in other places it has the look of genuine silk.

A roman blind in the Lustre fabric is a stunning window treatment and will give an opulent and polished look wherever it’s hung. To see all the Lustre colours just click here or here for the full roman blind collection.
