tuiss love :: Melody Rose Upcycled Ceramics

I admit it we have had a run on ceramics recently but I couldn’t resist these upcycled cups and saucers by Melody Rose.

Melanie Roseveare is the Canadian-born designer of Melody Rose. She lives and works in West London, where inspired by a love of ceramics, art and eco-friendly design, she breathes new life into long-forgotten china and creates Melody Rose.

Apart from the pictured skulls Melanie also creates ceramics featuring pin-ups, naked people, lots of birds wearing hats as well as dead brides. Somehow it’s all in the best possible taste!

Homes & Gardens Fabric Awards :: Babushka at tuiss

Homes & Gardens have just announced the winners of their Fabric Awards 2011 and one of the winners is Babushka by Harlequin. We offer this very fabric in our Harlequin Roman Blind collection and in no less than seven colourways.  In the words of the judges:

A wonderfully lively option for the cost-conscious decorator.

If the Babushka fabric isn’t quite right then why not take a look at our entire collection? There are some really beautiful Harlequin fabrics available and they look fantastic made into a roman blind.

by tuiss :: Recycled roller blinds & Christmas trees

A couple of colleagues have just returned from Paris (lucky them) and reported seeing the most stunning Christmas trees! The trees in question are made from recycled water bottles and are lit to look just gorgeous.

Naturally this put us all in mind of our very own recycled roller blinds. The Index fabric, made from recycled water bottles is available in five contemporary colours; pure white, champagne, white sand, neutral grey and jet.

Designed by Fabrice Peltier, founder of Designpack Gallery, here for your enjoyment too are the very same trees.
