Wherever you are in the UK at the moment I imagine that if you glance out of your window you will see a landscape bedecked in snow! It’s a bit of of a shame that it’s National Tree Week, planned to coincide with the tree planting season. Touch on the chilly side if you ask me!

Although it may seem that there are plenty of trees, Britain is one of the least wooded countries in Europe and the planting of new trees has fallen to its lowest level for three decades.

So, do you have room in your garden for a tree? The Telegraph may inspire you with their top 20 trees.

We were only too happy to tell Your Home magazine all about NRG energy saving blinds this month! They are the perfect antidote for the cold weather, they keep the heat in and your energy bills down.

These blinds are available in roller blinds and vertical blinds, plus there’s blackout options too and a whole range of colours and textures. The vertical blinds will work particularly well on large patio doors where such a lot of heat will escape because of the bigger surface area. Here’s just some of the colours available…

The tuiss Autumn / Winter lookbook is released

Last week we took delivery of our new Lookbook. We love it so much we actually had the front cover blown up onto a canvas (thanks to Canvas4life) and hung on the wall of one of the  offices. (The picture makes it look a little like we work out of a garage, we actually work out of a converted barn and the Creative’s office, where the picture is hung, is the old hayloft.)

We love getting up close and personal with our blinds! Our regular photo shoots are the perfect chance for us to see our products displayed in all their glory. We’ve just had the proofs back from our recent shoot, just take a look at the fabulous Dark Willow and Mulberry wooden blind, stunning in a shabby chic country kitchen.
