I saw this (Cup) …
and I thought of this (Lovebirds Blue roman blind).
We were delighted to spot a complete set of our roman blinds in May’s House Beautiful magazine. This absolutely beautiful space and was described as ‘Sandi and Sumptuous’ and we think our Linen Cotton Purity roman blinds look fantastic and so in keeping with the Scandi feel.
Minimalist off-white roman blinds allow plenty of daylight into the room and are perfect for a Scandi feel.
And here’s what we have to say:
This gorgeous fabric is a blend of linen and cotton and boasts a beautiful linen weave featuring natural crepes and slubs. We promise you, this fabric has a personality all of its own!
For a pure and simple look the Linen Cotton Purity roman blind is a spectacular solution that will lend itself to so many different interior styles.
We’ve just added some new fabrics to our ever popular and stylish Whimsical Roman Blind collection. Personally I’m rather taken with the Samoa Crimson, that bird just looks so happy! Other additions are the equally exotic Caicos Indigo, some beautiful love birds as well as a fantastic red ladybird set amongst lots of bugs and beasties! Here though is my personal favourite …
We can definitely picture this bird strutting along the floor of the Samoan jungle surrounded by unusual flora and steamy air!
The exotic flowers in sangria red, cerise and burnt orange will instantly add tropical flavour to your room along with the flamboyant leaves in olive and jade all set against the white background.
Such a funky blind will add a spectacular note of design to your room, perfect for plainly decorated rooms that need a touch of pizazz.
We spotted this pretty room in June’s Your Home magazine and guess what a key feature of the room was? Why our Chenille Geranium roman blind! The blind has been customised with a contrasting pom pom trim in green and perfectly matches the eclectic colour scheme. Anna is the proud owner of this stunning room and says,
I can’t keep away from my pretty office now. It’s a tranquil space that fills me with inspiration.
We hope our blind goes a little way to help! For lots more chenille colours take a look at our full collection of Velvet and Chenille roman blinds.
We admit we do love our Whimsical roman blinds here at tuiss! One of our favourites has to be the Geograph map design, its available in two beautiful colourways, the antique seen below, as well as a stunning blue colourway, the Geograph Ocean.
The neutral biscuit coloured base features a wonderful map picked out in muted colours of indigo, berry and sapphire. Geograph Antique will be a great addition to any room that needs a stylish twist at the window.
If you feel like something a little different then you really should check out our limited edition fabrics. With their special limited edition sticker they’re easy to spot but hurry as they really are limited! Many of the fabrics are available as both roman blinds and curtains.
My particular favourite at the moment has to be the Amari Passion fabric with its paisley design in cornflower, mulberry and dusky rose.
Our buyers travel the world sourcing beautiful fabrics and in their spare time visit local fabric markets to find these hidden gems. Exceptional exclusive fabrics at very affordable prices, but hurry quantities are strictly limited.
Amari Passion roman blind available as a curtain too
Homes & Gardens have just announced the winners of their Fabric Awards 2011 and one of the winners is Babushka by Harlequin. We offer this very fabric in our Harlequin Roman Blind collection and in no less than seven colourways. In the words of the judges:
A wonderfully lively option for the cost-conscious decorator.
If the Babushka fabric isn’t quite right then why not take a look at our entire collection? There are some really beautiful Harlequin fabrics available and they look fantastic made into a roman blind.
Pod 9339 is one of our favourite Harlequin fabrics, it is so of the moment and just such a lovely design. It makes a fantastic roman blind and will dress a window beautifully.
Pod 9339 is inspired by the beautiful shape of honesty seed pods, not quite oval in shape they have such an organic shape that will help add a natural note to your room. The warm white backdrop proudly displays the pattern in navy, duck egg and taupe.
The chalkiness of the colours keeps this fabric print light and fresh and it will harmonise gorgeously with other light notes, or maybe act as the perfect contrast to interior’s schemes with a deeper palette. Our clever photographer has picked up the the wonderful play between the neutral taupe tones and the more colourful blue notes, just like stone outlined against the sky.
Of course we have a whole collection of Harlequin roman blind fabrics that you can peruse at your leisure. All blinds are available with standard or blackout lining, whichever suits your needs best.
In eagle eyed fashion I spotted a beautiful tuiss blind in March’s ‘Your Home’ magazine. It’s always nice to see our blinds in-situ and we think that our Tessutto Mink roman blind looks wonderful hanging at this large window.
As part of the room’s make-over the home-owner Ruth felt that the net curtains were looking ‘dated’ and wanted something more contemporary. The tuiss website was found and hey presto this is the result.
She ordered some fabric swatches which arrived the following day which then helped Ruth decide on a mink coloured fabric for her blind.
We have a huge range of roman blinds including blinds made with Harlequin fabric and also blinds designed by Patrizia Gucci. Just like Ruth you can advantage of our free sample service too, a great way to help you choose the right blind for your room.
