by tuiss :: New Vertical Blinds

Our collection of vertical blinds has been beautifully refreshed with the addition of nearly 100 new fabrics and in true tuiss style they all one thing in common, they are utterly tasteful. There are lots of natural textures as well as discreet patterns while the colour palette is very usable.

The fabrics have been added across the collections so you can enjoy beautiful new choices in the essential range, colours and textures, blackout and a brand new range of sumptuous faux silk and suede blinds. We love the new fabrics so why not go and take a peek and see if you love them too?

tuiss at Royal Ascot with Emma Jane Bamford

Famed for the outfits, the hats and the pageantry, as much as for the horse racing, Royal Ascot is a fabulous and very British event.

We asked Emma Jane Bamford a talented fashion illustrator to design a dress worthy of Royal Ascot taking our patterned roller blind collection as  her inspiration. Clearly Emma is always up for a challenge and we think these dresses and matching hats would go down a storm!Posy Red Dress

tuiss spot :: Linen Cotton Purity roman blind

We were delighted to spot a complete set of our roman blinds in May’s House Beautiful magazine. This absolutely beautiful space and was described as ‘Sandi and Sumptuous’ and we think our  Linen Cotton Purity roman blinds look fantastic and so in keeping with the Scandi feel.

Minimalist off-white roman blinds allow plenty of daylight into the room and are perfect for a Scandi feel.

And here’s what we have to say:

This gorgeous fabric is a blend of linen and cotton and boasts a beautiful linen weave featuring natural crepes and slubs. We promise you, this fabric has a personality all of its own!

For a pure and simple look the Linen Cotton Purity roman blind is a spectacular solution that will lend itself to so many different interior styles.

tuiss at Evteks Expo

A little over a week ago some of the tuiss team took a trip to Evteks, the absolutely huge fabric and home textiles fair in Istanbul.  With over 1000 exhibitors feet did get a little sore, we did however select some beautiful fabrics for our forthcoming collections. Here’s just a tiny glimpse of what we saw….

Green Office Week :: Green eco blinds at tuiss

It’s Green Office Week this week and here at tuiss we have some things up our sleeves that will help get your office that bit greener. Here are our top three blinds for a greener office.

1 – Recycled cotton blinds

Made from 100% recycled cotton, these cotton blinds originate from the floor of clothing and textile workshops. Fabric remnants are turned back into their original fibres and then spun once more to make new fabric. Choose from five contemporary colours that will suit an office environment perfectly.

2 – Recycled PET blinds

Here used drinks bottles have been put to much better use than merely filling up landfill sites.  The recycled bottles are processed to make PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) fabric and it takes six bottles to make a metre. The roller blind fabric is easy to wipe clean and is also anti-bacterial, great for keeping the office healthy. Available in office friendly neutral tones.

3 – Energy saving NRG blinds

Another way to be greener is to cut the energy costs associated with heating or cooling your office. Our energy-saving blinds will work really hard to keep your office space warm in the winter and chilled in the summer, reducing your reliability on heating and air-conditioning. We have a huge range of thermally efficient blinds, choose from roller blinds and vertical blinds as well as our very best energy savers, our pleated duoshade and duolight blinds.
