Well, we couldn’t be happier at all of the coverage we’ve received with our Maya Sunset Orange roller blind and all of the hard work we’ve been doing to raise awareness for Muscular Dystrophy. And of course, we’ve been raising vital funds through the sale of our Maya roller blind. Continue reading
Our collection of blackout roller blinds has grown a little with the addition of some great new shades. We’ve got brand new neutrals, try Poplin and Vanilla Ice, but we also have some new spring colours, buttercup and citronella and then some moodier colours such as toffee and black blackout blinds.
Blackout blinds are clearly going to be very useful in the bedroom for blocking out the morning sun, or even the afternoon sun if you’re a shift worker. These blinds are also a great option for a bathroom as they are 100% polyester so suitable for steamy environments plus they will keep it very private, no silhouettes here!
All tuiss roller blinds are finished with an aluminium chain which is a stylish finishing touch. We have a fantastic range of roller blinds so please do visit tuiss to view the entire collection. (Remember we have a next day free sample service too!)
One of the latest trends to hit the high street is the love of all things nostalgic. In some shops you can’t move for place-mats featuring well-loved brands! While we haven’t got any blinds featuring marmite and oxo cubes we do have retro and period fabrics aplenty.
Here are some of our beautiful fabrics with a distinct vibe from the past. For the complete collection of roman blinds including Harlequin fabrics and designs by Patrizia Gucci plus many many roller blinds just click and browse.

A bright blind bursting with colour and flowers is a sure fire way to raise a smile on even the gloomiest day!
Two of our brightest and freshest roller blinds are the Botanic Fresca with its white backdrop and the Botanic Jardin showcasing a green background, each shows off its wares in hot pink, chartreuse green and aqua.
Here’s what we have to say:
Botanic Fresca :: The upbeat brights in the Botanic Fresca will add a dramatic splash of colour to any scheme. Aquamarine, dark dusky pink and bright chartreuse green sit on a soft white background. The funky graphic florals weave across the fabric giving a colourful and lively look.
Botanic Jardin :: These dramatic graphic florals will put a zing into any scheme. A zesty green background displays an eclectic jumble of tumbling flowers. The bright hot pink contrasts happily with the aqua, while a touch of white and fawn add beautiful balance.
Remember we offer a next day sample service, just the ticket when you’re considering a colourful statement blind. Accessorising needn’t be daunting just take a quick peek below at all the wonderful items that will sit so happily next to your new blind.
There’s no doubt about it, the Kinder Rainbow blackout blind will make a huge splash in any child’s bedroom.
While the blind is blackout to make sure that the sun doesn’t keep a little one awake, the front of the blind is as colourful and cheerful as it can be. With so many colours on this blind it’s easy to co-ordinate into a child’s bedroom with all their colourful and vibrant toys.
This blind blackout blind will brighten up any child’s room with its fun and cheerful design. In the foreground tulips and daises grow in a meadow and then there are ponds with ducks, rolling hills, followed by rainbows and smiling suns. White fluffy clouds, soaring birds and hot air balloons fill the rest of the blind.
Kinder Rainbow is a blind that you can look at over and over, any child will have great fun spotting their favourite bunny or choosing the best balloon.
Always make sure that blind cords or pulls are kept out of the reach of children.
We have just added some great new patterned blackout roller blinds to our collection. Each of the blinds brings softness to a room, choose from floral patterns, star bursts or even dancing butterflies. These blinds are perfect for the bedroom helping to give restful sleep and a welcome lie in.
As usual we have some wonderful neutrals, but have added a lovely duck egg to the mix as well as some rich purple tones.

We really have been going wild!
We’ve been sending our lovely customers wildflower seeds in a bid to flower up the land and do our bit for the environment. Unfortunately though, despite having thousands of seed packets we’ve sent them all out earlier than we anticipated. We’ve put our thinking caps on to try and think of how we can continue to spread joy!
Not content with just flowering the land we thought we’d flower up homes too and do our best for your pocket at the same time. We’re offering you up to 40% off a selection of our floral roller and roman blinds till the end of May. Just click here or the lovely picture below to access this fabulous offer.
Thank you to the charity Landlife who have worked with us to send out thousands of free packets of wildflower seeds.
For a natural look then cotton flecked and dotted with cotton seeds is second to none. The cotton seeds (or cottonseeds as one word) are usually removed from the cotton production process, however, for some fabric designs a proportion are left behind and incorporated into the weave. The seeds that are left add extra character to fabric as well as exuding a natural and luxurious feel.
How many seeds would you like? Roller or Roman?
Some fabrics have more seeds than others, choose the Stria Cotton roller blind for example which has quite a lot of scattered seeds, if you prefer less seeds then something like our Sommeil Calico blackout roller blind will fit the bill.
Pattern is the new black and to celebrate we’ve just added seven new blinds to our patterned range of roller blinds.
The importance of pattern
Using pattern in a decor scheme instantly adds interest and character to a room. Introducing pattern using a patterned window blind is an easy, quick and relatively inexpensive way to transform a room.
Rest assured that adding a patterned blind to an otherwise beautiful or ‘safe’ scheme will really raise the style stakes, particularly those blinds with flamboyant and colourful patterns, the Fleurista Green for example. If you have a room with existing patterns then some of the quieter more reserved blinds will look super, maybe Chambray Natural.
Patterned blinds :: great if you’re new to interior design or not feeling very brave
Trying bright paints or investing in feature wallpaper can sometimes result in costly and time-consuming mistakes! A patterned blind is a little more fail-safe, simply order a sample of your favourite blind, take it with you to select other design elements such as paint colours and soft furnishings. Not forgetting of course sticking the sample on your wall or window and living with it for a few days. For our entire range please click patterned roller blinds or patterned blackout roller blinds.
Black and white is a stunning colour combination. Depending on styling it can look dramatic or calm, but it will always give a sophisticated and elegant air. A designer’s motto is every room can use a touch of black, so why not ground a scheme by adding black in the window dressings?
Here at tuiss we have a stunning range of black and white blinds, we’ve featured six below and thrown in some pure black blinds to tempt you too. If you would like to see our full range of black blinds then click these links to dive straight in, black roller blinds, black roman blinds, black venetian blinds or black fusion blinds.
