The designers at Philip Watts Design are an eclectic and talented bunch focusing on ‘creative architectural ironmongery’.
They take on all manner of interior design projects as well as designing everyday products with a cheeky or innovative twist. If that wasn’t enough they’ve also built an excellent reputation for designing and building the most marvellous staircases.
By the way their take on urinals is worth a peek and if you’re a twitterer then Philip Watts are too.
We have teamed up with environmental charity Landlife and are giving away 1,000’s of free wildflower seed packs to customers who order a blind sample. The complimentary seeds are available from April 1st, until our stocks last.
Supporting the Landlife charity project very much fits with our company touchstone of Greener by Nature and it’s a chance for tuiss customers to return a little bit of their gardens to the wild. The selection of seeds is beautiful including Poppies, Marigolds, Cornflowers, Corn Cockles and Chamomile and can be sown in April and May for a blaze of summer colour .

All tuiss roman blinds now have the upgrade option of being fitted with a Deluxe Perfect Raise headrail.
The deluxe perfect raise headrail featrures a smooth sidewinder control. (As you can see from the picture it’s similar to the control you would use for a roller blind.)
The control is cast in aluminium and has a smooth and easy feel, and the beauty is that the blind will always raise and lower in a straight line, i.e. there’ll be no slant.
We recommend that this sidewinder is chosen on blinds wider than 140cm or those that are made in heavier fabrics such as chenille or velvets.

I’ve done the research and I’m convinced, using a handkerchief instead of a disposable tissue is more environmentally friendly. (More classy too!)

All the furniture is designed by Nick Burrin and made exclusively for New England Lifestyle. The website is full of beautifully shot rooms and scenes to make you drool ever so slightly, Nick’s love of white is really quite infectious:

I think I need a box set! Everyone is well and truly hooked on Mad Men the US drama set in the 1960’s in an advertising agency, and I missed the boat!
