New blinds :: Patterned roller blinds

Pattern is the new black and to celebrate we’ve just added seven new blinds to our patterned range of roller blinds.

The importance of pattern

Using pattern in a decor scheme instantly adds interest and character to a room. Introducing pattern using a patterned window blind is an easy, quick and relatively inexpensive way to transform a room.

Rest assured that adding a patterned blind to an otherwise beautiful or ‘safe’ scheme will really raise the style stakes, particularly those blinds with flamboyant and colourful patterns, the Fleurista Green for example. If you have a room with existing patterns then some of the quieter more reserved blinds will look super, maybe Chambray Natural.

Patterned blinds :: great if you’re new to interior design or not feeling very brave

Trying bright paints or investing in feature wallpaper can sometimes result in costly and time-consuming mistakes! A patterned blind is a little more fail-safe, simply order a sample of your favourite blind, take it with you to select other design elements such as paint colours and soft furnishings. Not forgetting of course sticking the sample on your wall or window and living with it for a few days. For our entire range please click patterned roller blinds or patterned blackout roller blinds.

Toile Wedgewood :: This roller blind is so elegant with its tasteful toile pattern in Wedgwood blue. Look closely and you will see that the pattern sets a tranquil rural scene of restful country pursuits. The timelessness of Toile Wedgwood will clearly suit a traditionally styled space particularly ones where blue plays a part in the colour scheme. Don’t ignore the opportunity to hang this blind in a modern setting though to give a quirky and retro twist.

Fleurista Pink :: The pattern on this blind is picked out in hot pink on a white background giving Fleurista Pink an upbeat and cheery quality. Stretching florals reach for the light and are adorned by the occasional resting butterfly. The curving sinuous lines stop this blind from being too showy and lend it both elegance and grace. The colour and pattern makes Fleurista Pink quite a feminine blind. An obvious choice would be the bedroom of a teenage girl but it would also complement living areas, particularly those styled with stark whites and shots of vivid colours.

Toile Green :: At first glance this roller blind is a fresh apple green. Look a little closer however and you will notice a classic Toile de Jouy pattern picked out in very soft white. The pattern is a traditional pastoral scene that evokes feelings of calm and relaxation. The Spring colouring of Toile Green will look beautiful in any bright and fresh room, particularly one that needs a hint of pattern for that all important finishing touch. We’re thinking soft cream furnishings, vases of lilies and church candles, no doubt you’ll have your own thoughts though!

Chambray Truffle :: Chocolate brown remains a firm favourite among interior stylists and Chambray Truffle really hits the chocolate mark. What’s even better about this blind is the shot of double espresso courtesy of the floral pattern. This blind will look sensational in many rooms with its warm and comforting feel. Try it in a room of pale and interesting neutrals or in a room with other deep colours, we promise that Chambray Truffle will look as good as it sounds.

Fleurista Green :: Fleurista Green has such a split personality. The contrasting colours of deep jade green and indigo purple sit quite harmoniously together thanks to their quiet richness. This roller blind will really help to unite a scheme of contrasting colours, particularly intense and moody tones. On the flip side however it will blast itself into a space of whites and neutrals adding drama and excitement. Fleurista Green has such potential to transform a space, we really love it here at tuiss.

Chambray Natural :: Chambray Natural has a wonderfully traditional pattern of trailing sprays and scrolls, its brought bang up to date however with popular tone on tone colours. The pattern picked out in taupe lies on an ecru background introducing subtle rather than over-bearing design. Such a stylish and sophisticated blind will work well with a refined and tasteful interior. Naturally it will work well in neutral spaces or rooms that favour a brown or beige palette, equally in more vibrant rooms it will bring a touch of calm.

  2. Hi, I can’t see the Toile Wedgewood roller blind in the page that it clicks through to, is it available yet? Thanks.

  3. Hi Carly. I’m very sorry but we no longer stock that particular roller blind. I hope that there’s an alternative that will suit.
